Experience about Random Duplicate Method of Quality Control for a Hematology Laboratory

Abstract
Enlarging workloads, increasing complexity of autoanalyzer have combined to emphasize the need for improved quality control in hematology laboratories. We have called it the random duplicates methods and have applied it to serve moreaccurate and precise results of CCSplus.
It worked as follow; Five samples were selected randomly from the day¢¥s EDTA bloods. Paired of results are then inspected and discrepancy was investigated.
We feeled that these programs have been worthwhile because it was then easy to obtain an objective assessment of quality of machine perfermance, and technological competence (Systemic Error), and cost down to pay for maintenance of quality.
